I woke up yesterday at 4:30 am to go to spin class.. which is insanely early for me! I loved spin though
Everyone was so friendly and it’s a crazy workout. I also liked how I was done with my workout before the sun even came up. Who can say that? I’ll do a recap of yesterday and then today as far as food goes.
I ate some peanut butter on arnold’s whole wheat bread on the way to the gym. It’s about all I can stomach at 4:30 in the morning.

When I got back I actually fell back asleep for a few hours and when I woke up I had a little cereal/granola combination. My friends from out of town came to visit and I anticipated them earlier than they came so I was actually wishing I ate more. I didn’t end up eating until 2:30!

As you can see I was so hungry when we sat down that I took bites before taking a photo! I took them to my FAVORITE pizza place probably ever.. Il Panificio in downtown Sarasota! They always have good choices but I get the same.. tomato and basil
It’s the best! I probably should have gotten another slice or a salad but I was full after this and didn’t realize Id be eating so late.

This is where the day went wrong. I didn’t end up eating again until 9:30 outside of an unpictured apple at 7. I was ravenous. It was funny because I usually struggle to finish the whole bowl but I sat down before everyone and started shoveling. James joked that I was trying to catch up to my boyfriend (he is a crazy fast eater). I finished the entire thing in less than 5 minutes. The thing was covered in sour cream which was gross but I was so hungry I didn’t even care. I managed to beat 4 other people in eating.. and beat up my digestive tract at the same time. Not the best thing to eat late at night. I felt it this morning when I woke up!

FRIDAY:
I tried to eat more today. I weighed myself at the gym and I lost 7 pounds which I really did not mean to do. I guess adding exercise into an already healthy diet results in weight loss?.. imagine that!!
I don’t want to lose another 7 pounds so i’m going to try to eat more on days I workout.
My tummy was not my friend when I woke up so I ate half of this bar before my spin class so I wouldn’t pass out. It was AWESOME. This may be my favorite Larabar outside of banana bread! Im glad I ate this because spin kicked my ass. I really shouldn’t have gone today since yesterday was my first day. At first I thought I’d made a huge mistake because I could barely pedal without pain but I realized halfway through the class that the resistance was way up (durrrrrrr)! I lowered it and the rest of the class was much easier. But I must not have stretched correctly because I’m limping now. My calf is KILLING me. I was going to run tomorrow but I think I’ll take it easy instead.

When I got back my tummy was settled and I had some granola, shredded wheat and banana cereal. I know I should have variety in my diet but I can’t help it.. I’m a cereal addict

For lunch I grilled a pb and jelly sandwich! The Larabar got me in the mood for a real one
So goooood and so filling. I could barely eat the whole thing.

For a snack I tried kale chips for the first time! Sabrina’s mom made them. I wish I could say I loved them but I’m not big on a lot of spice and they were a little much for me but still good! They’d be really good in a sandwich

For dinner I had leftover spinach pasta with tomato, garlic and some cheese and sauce. It was much better with cheese but it made me kind of nauseous. No idea why.

The best part of my day is this dark chocolate frozen banana. These things are so goooooood. I contemplated eating a second one but decided it wasn’t the best idea. Potassium overload much?
